Review of Freeze Frame (2004) by Tim G — 24 Jun 2011
A proper dark and tense British thriller. Lee Evans ditches his usual frenetic comic persona (see Mouse Hunt) to become a frenetic paranoid recluse since his acquittal of a murder 10 years previously. To ensure his continued innocence he records his every move on video cameras dotted around his home, and a special one strapped to his chest for venturing out into the real world. As the 10th anniversary comes round the media and police seem to be taking a renewed interest in the old case.
