Review of Freedomland (2006) by Laura L — 24 Aug 2006
Wim got a full time job already.
YAY.
It's with Whole Foods, so it should be nice to get a discount and all. Because we all know I can't eat anything and have 40 different allergies.
He starts at the end of next month.
He applied for a few different sections, thankfully he didn't get the bakery because he loves sweets! He'd overdo it everyday.
We rented Freedomland yesterday. Wow Julianne Moore is so disturbing in this movie. Thankfully peaceful and mellow Samuel L Jackson was there to soothe her and the audience. It's way intense.
It's about a woman, (Moore) driving through the projects of New Jersey and getting carjacked. She later tells Jackson, a police officer in charge of Armstrong, (the projects) that her 4 year old son was in the backseat. he knows she isn't telling the whole truth.
It's got a lot of good acting and suspence, but seeing Moore act like a lunatic for 2 hours was hard to take. She really made me squirm. She's even worse than Jodie Foster in Flightplan. (I know....terrifying).
