Review of Freedomland (2006) by Madeline S — 27 Dec 2006
A woman's child disappears and she blames a black carjacker, causing racial tension in a fictional New Jersey town. Either she is telling the truth or lying to cover up a terrible truth. The pacing is somehow off in this suspense movie, and it is indicative of the gloominess that hangs over it that both Julianne Moore and Edie Falco look plain.
