Review of Freedomland (2006) by Lucas S — 09 Oct 2009

Freedomland is one of the most boring movies I have ever seen. It was with good actors but the movie kind of sucked. In some cases the movie was okay but that is a little bit of sarcasim. The poster looked good and the movie was much more different than the trailer. I thought it would be an okay crime/horror film, but it was just a boring modern segretation type movie. I thought that Julliane Moore's acting was much too over the top, and much too over dramatic. She was like sobbing for the whole entire film I literally wanted to shoot myself. It was a crime but no horror film to me but they keep on saying it is. Critics treated this movie much too over the top. But the weird thing in this movie is that this is one of the worst movies I have ever seen but I think that this is one of Samuel L. Jackson's best performances that he has ever done. So that was really strange. But there was a ton of bad actors in this movie. Mostly the minor actors. So at least we were not following the bad actors. But this is not that fun to watch.
