Review of Freedom Writers (2007) by C. B — 28 Feb 2011
Formulaic yet intriguing, this film involves a teacher attempting to better the lives of inner-city children. The writing is what really shines here, choosing to throw punches you don't expect. The acting can be over-the-top at times, and cinematography is bland, but not a bad film.
Rating: Matinée.
