Such a fine film. Its Act1 depiction of the horrific Civil War battle of Corinth alone is worth price of admission. As brilliantly shown as D-Day in Saving Pvt Ryan. But FSOJ is much more than a shoot-em-up.
Not only a great movie in every way that counts -- fine performances, gorgeous cinematography, etc. It will also show you things you did not know about YOUR country's history. Pretty amazing when a movie does all that.
