"Free State of Jones" : whatever your plans were for today...change them and go see this movie. With very few exceptions there is nothing else you can do today to better honor the 4th , the flag and your America than to see and process and discuss what this film has to say and reward those who made it.

Also its a great film (really gory opening but once they've made the point they turn that down a bit). This story will touch a LOT of Americans very Personally.. the laws it talks about were still on the books when I was born.

.and the attitudes.. among other things.. are a poison that continues to sicken america to this day. We rarely talk about it much in this country and we need to do so more in order to make right..what we only HALF made right a century and a half ago.
