Free guy is a fantastic concept diluted down and mixed with pop culture sherbet into a sickly goop of discombobulated nonsense. The cast do a great job with the weak screenplay but if you leave your brain at the door and are in the mood this action sci fi fantasy will bring a basic but watchable level of entertainment if you like this genre.
Sadly put next to something like black mirror or The matrix it feels like a real missed opportunity to explore the concept of artificial intelligence and be true to the gaming as a hobby.
