Free Fire is such a great Action packed British Comedy about a simple weapon trade in the 70s. This is like if Martin Scorsese and Quentin Tarantino collaborated on a film together. Free Fire shows that the characters don't need rich backstories or origins to be interesting.

They're just baddies being bad. I was so surprised to see so much great action in such a claustrophobic environment. And yes, it does have that witty British humor and writing. There is a small "Who Did It?" situation that works fine, but they don't really give any personal motive to why the character did it.

Also the final act didn't really get me invested as much as the rest did, and there were a couple characters that didn't get enough screen time to be interesting and unique like the others. Even the romance between two of the characters seemed rushed.

If you're looking for a great British Action-Comedy, Free Fire is a definite recommendation.
