Review of Free Fire (2017) by Olivier B — 23 Jul 2017
Very bad movie. The worst thing is it is good enough for the first 30 minutes and that first 30 minutes makes you feel there must be something that will give you pay off at the end of the movie but there really isn't.
The film suffers from being both unrealitic and too realistic at the same time. The plot itself is unrealistic because everyone get's injured in the gunfight in the first few minutes of the shoot out and they all actually get really injured.
The film then descends into a bunch of people crawling around like idiots whilst trying to retain the excitement of a convoluted plot. Becomes very frustrating very quickly. Very poor movie, skip it altogether unless you are a glutton for punishment.
