Slightly better than the previous installment. I like how they make Freddy more of a comedian but that kind of takes away the horror aspect of the film. I also like how they delve more into his backstory. This movie could have been a lot better if not for the bad acting and cheesy effects and gimmicks. All in all they should have just made a couple nightmare films instead of 7. If you like the 5th one you'll like this one, otherwise skip it.
