Although we know differently now, this was supposed to be the final chapter in the Freddy saga. We get Freddy's usual jokey style but this movie was kept interesting by introducing Freddy BEFORE he was burned alive and giving us a look at how he was before he became the abomination he is now.
The final 10 mins of this movie was filmed in 3D forthe theatrical release and Freddy's final battle is great.
