This desrves probably no more than one star but im a big horror fan and im certainly a massive freddy and jason fan, so having a film thats pits the two horror titans clashing together in a meld of both the nightmare and fridays franchises was always going to appeal to me, in fact I was mega excited about this silly film, I couldnt wait to see these two unkillable boogey men go at each other in a mass hack and slash free for all, in actuality they only go head to head in the final moments of the film, and whilst their showdown is cool and in some instances everything you could have hoped for, it's also kinda dissapointingly short and it cops out big time by having a vengfull cheerleader as a third party at the end of the fight, who tips the scales in a big way that really pisses you off.

It's a damn cheat! and yes we spend more time with a group of incredibly boring and underwritten teens who dont seem to even know how to party all that well, including kelly "fucking" rowland (yes, she of destinys child) dont worry though, she gets a very satisfyingly brutal demise (you'll have to see which one gets her) thats for that charlies angels song bitch!! and like I say, you get barley any freddy and jason fighting, but this film is made for horror fans like me, especialy those who love their horror villans, it's just a fun party movie, full of gore and violence, tit's and laugths, that makes you nostailchic for the 80's and early nineties, when these characters where playground legend and you wernt allowed to see their movies, it never fufills on the sheer bloodbath massacre promise of it's high concept, but this is still a good laugth, and it's great to see your old childhood haunting friends back on the screen again, especialy robert englund in his last go around as freddy, who obviously relishes tearing up the screen once more with his dark charisma and evil sense of humour.
