Review of Freddy vs. Jason (2003) by Nick C — 24 Oct 2010

So forget about jason x, forever.

Remember at the end of jason goes to hell where freddy's glove comes up and snatches down jason's mask?

Well 12 years later they finally get the story written well enough to make the ultimate showdown of freddy and jason.

Basically freddy, deep inside hell, is stuck there because the town of springwood basically censored him out of everyone's life so they all would forget about him. thus, making him not be able to attack the children.

Jason, is rotting inside the ground up in crystal lake. somehow freddy invades jason's dreams as his jason's mother and tells him to wake up and hes just sleeping. this is all a ploy to have jason go to springwood and kill a bunch of people so the townsfolk will think it was freddy, giving freddy power to kill again.

Yadda yadda yadda, people get killed, then freddy and jason start fighting.

Eventually freddy is dragged out of the dream realm and has a final battle royale with jason. which is pretty epic. the battle pretty much ends with jason and freddy killing each other... but its a horror movie and of course there is a "Twist"... jason emerges out of the water with freddys head in his hands... and freddy winks at the camera. ROLL CREDITS!.

Still tho. this was one hell of a fun movie. the acting was great. minus that black chick. also very bloody. awesome in that aspect. very well written. and monica keena is hot.

I cant really hate on this movie.
