The best coming of age story ever told in any medium. I.e., it mocks the shit of the genre. Not only is this a perfect parody insofar as it puts the archetype on display, but insofar as how well it mocks the pieces that comprise the archetype.

If there's anything that perfectly demonstrates the awful self-indulgent ego heavy tones of stories such as catcher in the rye or on the road is a guy jacking off a horse or playing with sausages.
