Review of Freaks (1932) by David T — 31 Oct 2012
Terribly mislead as a horror film but in reality a drama. Or a mellow-dramatic suspenseful thriller as certain scenes come off as rather soap-opera-ish. I mean that in a good way. The only people that would find any horror in this are either mean-hearted or just have circus phobia but what can you do about the latter? A really good psychological dramatic piece that never gets old or boring.
