Review of Freakonomics (2010) by James K — 07 Oct 2011
Sure, the premise and design don't translate that well to a film. It lacks a sense of unifying theme and the segments comes off as random at times. But the real draw here, as in the book, is economist Steven Levitt's groundbreaking theory on the inter-relation of Roe v.
Wade and crime rates. It's one of the most controversial, eye-opening and, arguably, most important developments in American sociological theory of our time.
