Review of Fratricide (2005) by Darren H — 06 Feb 2010
Fratricide adds unique layers to a familiar country bumpkin-in-the-big city story. Think "Midnight Cowboy" involving two Kurdish youths sticking together to survive an uncaring German city and a long-standing conflict with the Turks.
Throw-in some guttural images of piss, spit, blood and guts. "Kite Runner" this ain't.
