Review of Frantic (1988) by Michael T — 24 Jan 2009
Decent thriller, but too long by at least twenty minutes. The lead actress is certainly beautiful (and later married Polanski) but I wasn't crazy about her performance as she seemed too detached. Ford is solid, but it's another one of his, as someone below me wrote, "Give me back my wife" roles.
Plenty of shots of Ford looking bewildered, which he does so well.
