Review of Frantic (1988) by Matt M — 15 Mar 2013
A heart surgeon on a visit to Paris finds himself caught in an intrigue which involves gangsters, drugs and murder after his wife disappears. Polanski, in this Hitchcockian formula, makes quite an intense, suspenseful and focused film, very intriguing from start to finish.
Ford, cast in a more vulnerable part than usual, fits the part very well.
