Review of Frantic (1988) by Matt W — 29 Apr 2009
A sexy piece of film noir. Atmospheric and beautifully shot. I went to Paris in 1988 (the year this film was made), and this film really captures some of the atmosphere of the city in the 1980s. A real immersion experience of a film, and a far more intelligent, understated european take on the "suspense thriller" than similar hollywood films.
