Review of Frantic (1988) by James R — 02 Feb 2010
A thriller that takes its time as Ford searches high and low for his wife, yet rarely seems to become frantic in the process. This film has a great setting and its pace lets you appreciate the more conventional thriller sequences, such as shootouts, all the more because there has been little action of any sort.
In my opinion, the introduction of more characters (with the exception of Seigner) made the film more difficult to follow, but everything else is well done.
