Review of Frantic (1988) by Josh A — 01 Jul 2010
An effective slow-burn thriller, although I think some of Dr. Walker's actions are unnecessarily extreme. I'm also not a fan of Betty Buckley, but luckily she's barely in the movie. Ford and Seigner both deliver good performances, and the movie does a good job building suspense.
We pretty much see the entire thing from Walker's point of view, so we have to put the pieces of the puzzle together as he does, and it prolongs the mystery's intrigue.
