Review of Frantic (1988) by Noel L — 16 Mar 2011
Atmosphere and muted suspense propel this: a traveler's worst nightmare-come-true scenario. Delicate attention to detail from disgraced filmmaker Polanski as he carefully unravels a tautly wound plot.
This is a sorely underrated film which dwells just outside of the public's consciousness. Something about it is inviting, almost romantic. Morricone's masterful touch perfectly blends the music to the mysterious theme.
One of Ford's best roles. - 8/10 (Great).
