Review of Frantic (1988) by Alexander Z — 01 Jan 2012
A classic thriller from Polanski and co. With Ford working heartily against type as the nervy husband in search of his missing wife and Emmanuelle Seigner positively smouldering as the incredibly sexy drugs mule who get's embroiled in the hectic, even frantic, goings on.
The only problem is the central duo's reluctant rapport, which is so convincing that by the final trade-off scenes, your routing for Ford and Seigner to hook up and just leave Betty Buckley's unfortunate wife to the goons.
