Quietly funny,rich peripheral characters, DeBussy's 'Clair de Lune'and one of the most beautiful moments in screen history - early morning at the NY flower exchange as the truck door rolls up behind the protagonists- make for an enjoyable watch.
I think Pacino was perhaps miscast...DeNiro would have been more appealing (see Stanley & Iris performance) in this role. Kate Nelligan (former Londoner) in the gold pumps...need I say more?
