Review of Frankie and Johnny (1991) by Noah W — 01 Sep 2007
Wow, actually a good love story. More like a romantic comedy really, but it has got its moments. Al Pacino rocks, like always, and Michelle Pfeiffer is great. The chemistry from "Scarface" is definitely still there.
The characters are a little too emotional at times, but Nathan Lane actually saves a few moments. The greatest parts? The most awkward after-sex scene ever and the moment when Nathan Lane's character reveals to Pacino that he's gay.
Classic awkward silences.
