Review of Frankenstein Meets the Wolf Man (1943) by Andreas O — 13 Oct 2010
And so the monster franchises start to converge, in a sense marking the end of the Universal Studios golden age, while acting as the precursor to the monster mash films. It's odd to see Lugosi as the monster, but at least Lon Chaney Jr is back as the Wolf Man.
The plot doesn't really make sense at times, and there's a weird music number wedged in the middle, but overall it is highly enjoyable. Recommended.
