Review of Frankenstein Conquers the World (1965) by Mike P — 27 Mar 2011
Heres a cool idea, take THE Universal monster and make him a giant, Toho style. Frankenstein Conquers The World is a unique and very cool film. I havnt seen this since I was a kid and this scared the crap out of me then. Well 30 years later it doesnt scare me but I can see why I scared me as a 7 year old. The Frankenstein "Monster" is pretty creepy. Especially when he goes total savage at the end. The story is pretty awsome. I loved how they got the Frank monster here. And they throw in Baragon too. The showdown at the end between Franky and Baragon is awsome. Its well shot, choreographed and the sets are great. As always theres the minitures and they become a real treat when theres a dioll thrown in to represent an actor.
This is essential veiwing for giant monster fans. This is one of the best.
