Review of Frank Zappa: Baby Snakes (1979) by Nathan S — 22 Aug 2011
Zappa's zany feature film that is part-rock doc, part-stoner humor, part-rock concert. But, it's past his prime creativity of the Mothers of Invention as the film would've been better and funnier if it was a non-stop concert film.
But, with all of the random stuff in the first two hours, I often forget that this is meant to be bizarre and not annoying. Well, the last 45 minutes of the film is a good concert.
