Review of Frances Ha (2013) by Drew R — 22 Sep 2014
This film amounts to a silly, but lifelike meandering exploration of friendship and early adulthood. The length was perfect and the acting was excellent. The black and white felt unnecessary for a film that takes place in modern day, but it wasn't detracting.
Also, the Bechdel Test is passed thanks to the relationship of Sophie and Frances.
