Original, disturbing and suspensful with a heck of a twist, Frailty is driven even more by the performances. Perhaps Bill Paxton's best work. No, not perhaps, definately. Matthew McConaughey gives a solid turn. The man can act, which you might not realize what with all the romantic comedy crap he has done in the last few years. The kids (o'Leary and Sumpter) make it even better. I hate it when the child leads cannot act (Star Wars Episode I, anyone?).

While it was refreshing to see a "horror" movie have some depth, the slow pace begins to wear on you. A touch longer than it had to be, but all in all a very good movie.

I have alwys liked Paxton, but I am not sure why. He tends to be rather bland, but Frailty shows him at his best. Seems to have fallen off the radar lately. Well, "Real Love" and all...
