Review of Foxy Brown (1974) by Harry W — 17 Jul 2012
A poor quality adaptation of a male fantasy that actually demoralizes women more than you'd think. It has it's moments, and it's a film that did need to be made to influence the future of the film industry with films like Jackie Brown, but it's still crap.
The poor quality of the film shows in it's most important scenes, and it's enough to make the whole film experience boring. Still, I have to give credit to Pam Grier's peformance and the musical score.
