Review of Fox and His Friends (1975) by Richard F — 19 Jun 2009
This amazing film is more about classism than "gay" relationships. Fassbinder plays the lovable Franz Fox, a very unloved, poor, and naive winner of the lottery. But instead of money making his life better, he becomes instant prey to a snobby gay man who uses Fox to save his father's business.
I have no idea where "Fist-Fight of Freedom" came from, but it seems to be the opposite of what this story is about. How about: "Never Fall In Love With Bourgeois Scum"?
