Review of Fox and His Friends (1975) by Thomas K — 30 Jan 2015
It may not be perfect but it's also, in many ways, the greatest gay film ever made and a definite influence on the future new queer cinema. Fassbinder plays a simple Bear who wins the lottery and is subsequently seduced, fleeced and abandoned by an unscrupulous heir of the bourgeoisie.
Powerful.
