How can so many tallented people get together and create such an inept film. The movie follows the New Years Eve night of Tim Roth who is a bell boy in a hotel. The story unfolds in a number if vignettes as anything and everything that could happen to one guy over the course of one night does happen.

This sounds like a very promising premise, right. Yeah I was fooled by the so called premise also. It is poorly written, and by the standards of these writers, should be unforgivable. The casting was bad and they really don't fit well into their parts but they don't have much to work with either.

Some stories revolve around gross and offensive acts sometimes involving children. The only time that the movie shows a glimmer of hope is in the last vignette which happens to be the one that Quentin Tarantino wrote, directed, and stars in.

It isn't very good but if you make it through the rest of the movie this part should seem like The Seventh Seal. This movie is better left forgotten. Maybe it seemed so awful because I had very high expectations from all the talent that was involved.

Don't be fooled by credits and leave this one where it deserves to stay: on the shelf.
