Review of Four of the Apocalypse (1975) by Steve E — 09 Feb 2009
An unconventional spaghetti western in that it has a warm center and characters that aren't exactly your typical anti-heroes. It's a surprisingly optimistic film for such a bleak genre. While it's easily one of Lucio Fulci's best films, it also has some of that tedium that goes with watching his movies.
Still, it's a must-see for fans of the genre since what it offers is so different from the rest thematically.
