Review of Four Minutes (2005) by Jose A — 15 Dec 2010
A good movie that is perhaps only great to music enthusiasts who appreciate Romantic piano. The argument scene between student and teacher towards the end is too long in all the wrong places and yet still manages to leave a few gaping holes that make it difficult to believe in the reconciliation that is required for the film to move forward.
However, the final act is superb and communicates very well music's true power of expression.
