Review of Four Lions (2010) by Christopher B — 23 Feb 2011
A bold film that achieves, through the mocking of a group of terrorists, making them into human beings. It's hard to laugh at people who we fear, so it was very brave to do this. But I do like how Morris pulls us back into reality with the lead character's family life, and the chilling fanaticism that he and his wife share (while turning the "you can do it" storytelling cliche on it's ear).
