Review of Forrest Gump (1994) by Joshua D — 22 Aug 2013
"Jenny, I don't know if Momma was right or if, if it's Lieutenant Dan. I don't know if we each have a destiny, or if we're all just floating around accidental-like on a breeze, but I, I think maybe it's both. Maybe both is happening at the same time. I miss you, Jenny. ".
Forest Gump is captivating. A beautiful portrait of the life of a mentally disabled man. Forest Gump is a broad and expansive phenomenon of a film. From the Vietnam War to ping-pong, Forest Gump never loses your attention and will keep you laughing or crying throughout. Tom Hanks gives his best performance til date in this timeless classic. Amazing.
