Review of Forrest Gump (1994) by Kyle M — 15 Sep 2014
Finally seen this 17/9/2014. Had me gripped from start to finish. Very moving. I also learnt a lot about American history. The characters are great. I felt sad for forrest that although he achieved so much in his life, he never found love or a partner in the end, although if it all worked out it would have been a bit clichà (C)d and predictable.
I liked how there were bits near the end that reminded us of his early life or things that happened at the start. I feel that there were a lot of quotes from this film that were meaningful. The irony about people saying 'you don't know what it's like not to have legs' was good.
I love how modest he was and his humility.
