Review of Forrest Gump (1994) by Hannah C — 03 Oct 2013
Forrest Gump.
I'm reviewing a movie called Forrest Gump. The movie is about the main character Forrest and his life story. It goes from when he was just a little boy to who he is now. He had a lot happen in his life, not to mention that he is mentally retarded.
The story starts out as Forrest when he was younger and how he had trouble getting into a public school because he wasn't has smart because he was mentally retarded but his mother convinced the principal. Forrest was made fun of but he had his best friend and only friend Jenny. When Forrest was older he played college football because he was good at it, he could run very fast. Then he went into the army made a friend Bubba but Bubba died, he won the Congressional Medal of Honor. Then he went home and saw Jenny and was with each other for a while then one morning she just left. Forrest got into the shrimping business and made a lot of money. He went on a run through the U. S. because he could. Couple years later he met up with Jenny and found out he had a son bout 6 years old. Turns out Jenny had cancer and died but Forrest and his son lived happily down the road.
There's Forrest, Forrest's Mama, Jenny, Bubba and Lieutenant Dan. They were all the main characters. All played a big role in the movie.
There are many different settings throughout the movie. Forrest's house, Vietnam, on a shrimp boat, on a road traveling through the United States, and many different places. Many important places throughout the movie.
I think it is one of the best movies of all time. It funny and has a really good story to it. I'll give it a 5/5.
