This is an outstanding film. It is truly emotional in every way. It is hilarious and sad. Tom Hanks, as a simple southern boy with an IQ of 75 who goes through some amazing experiences, is a joy to watch.
Every line Hanks delivers in this movie is either laugh-out-loud funny or heart-breaking sad. This movie is a classic. It has smart, fresh dialogue, great chemistry throughout the cast, and a wonderful story about love that might make you tear up.
Forrest Gump is one of my favorite movies, and it definitely deserved 6 Oscars.
