Review of Foreign Correspondent (1940) by Jimbo S — 20 Apr 2008
Inherently Hitchcock, with strong resemblances to the 39 Steps and The Man Who Knew Too Much. But there are a few things which don't work for me -- too many characters, many of which were superfluous, too long, and the fact that it seems like a shameless attempt to stir the USA into WWII.
In net result, it seems lesser than the sum of its parts, and I would rather watch one of the aforementioned again.
