Review of Foreign Correspondent (1940) by Meghan D — 11 Feb 2009
Not Hitch's best by any means, but there's a lot of good stuff here. The windmill scene is amazing. The reparte between McCrea and Day is delightful. And the plane sinking? Wow - Hitch is such an innovator.
And it's an interesting installment in his repertoire due to it's emotion and surge of propaganda at the end. It's very interesting - boardering between moving and ridiculous - a pretty fine line to walk.
