Critics consensus:'Gleefully uncomomfortable'. Where was the glee? Hard to watch? Definitely. Uncomfortable? Maybe, only in as much as one had to sit for far too long wishing for it to end.

I thought if I had to watch that dreary color coordinated couple clean their teeth together one more time, I might harm myself.

So many pointless, unexplained events, so many endless trips up the ski lift in slow motion, so many blank white shots of snow....and the ending, just bizarre.

Why was the whole sad movie so stunningly unfunny. I love Swedish and Danish movies in general, as does my husband. However, like me, he was baffled by the whole pointless, annoying, waste of time that was this movie. It was my choice, I owe him now. Sigh.
