Review of Forbidden Planet (1956) by Joe A — 29 May 2009

Sci-fi classic is charming and even spooky at times entertainment, as well as, a fabulously designed treat that has inspired countless films and TV shows for decades. Even if you're not a fan of this kind of film it's still worth watching to see Leslie Nielson as a serious leading man, which he was until Airplane turned him into the comic actor this generation knows him as.

A one of a kind movie that deserves the classic status it has achieved.
