Pretty straightforward, but touching. In a period of filmmaking in which people (Michael Bay, Oliver Stone) try to make films about huge historical events using big budgets, collossal sets, and countless special effects, this film is proof that concentrating on a specific, human situation conveys the larger picture more affectively.
