Or the Bond which came down to earth after the nonsense of Moonraker.

Aside from the Terrible score this Bond has Aged pretty well.

This is due to a story which goes easy on gadgets in favour of Character instead.

Thats not to say that it skimps on Action.

The funny and Hairaising 2CV chase is a standout.

As is the assault on the Villains lair.

John Glen who had beeen a 2nd unit director on previous Bonds does a pretty decent job of handling the action.

And the 2 hours go rattling by.

One to savour.
