Review of For Your Eyes Only (1981) by Eric O — 18 Jul 2008
This is my first James Bond film. Not sure how old I was but the one scene that I remember was the opening scene where James picks up a guy in a wheelchair and drops him down a chimney. I wasn't sure if there was any good guy in this film. Oddly, the other scenes I remember are the turtle swimming over the ancient ruins and the deep sea diving suit fight scene. I'm glad I'm able to finally but a movie to these scenes. Oh yes, and all of the winter Olympic scenes. I guess I remembered more than I thought.
I enjoyed this movie. A Bond girl who is strong and doesn't sleep with him the second she see him. Love the chase scene in the little yellow beetle!
On to Octopussy!
